Who We Are

Cheshire String Quartet is a modern ensemble based in the North West Of England.

We are highly experienced musicians, having performed for hundreds of weddings and high profile events both locally and across the UK. Our players are classically trained professionals who regularly perform with some of the country’s leading orchestras and ensembles.

With over 80 years of combined industry experience, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality, versatility and refined musical performances tailored to every occasion.

Meet the Team

Over the last decade or so through working in different groups and ensembles, we realised we were recognising each other in lots of different settings and fast becoming increasingly familiar faces! As a result of working together so regularly and realising we were a great team, we decided to create our very own collective, and the Cheshire String Quartet was born.

As Cheshire String Quartet we have performed at thousands of weddings, corporate parties and events, awards and graduation ceremonies, drinks receptions, proposals - the list goes on! Individually we’ve played with various orchestras, ensembles, rock and pop bands, broadcast and recording sessions, film and TV sound tracks, sports events and we’re constantly adding to the list! 

We’re beyond excited to see what happens as this new venture unfolds. We love playing and working together, and we can’t wait to dive into this next chapter.

Cheshire Strings can perform classical, pop, and rock arrangements for weddings, corporate and private events. With their own musical arranger they can adapt any song to a string quartet arrangement.
